Inspection – Items are available for inspection on Preview Day on the Morning before the Auction Starts
Firearms – All firearms sold are subject to Federal and State Laws. If a buyer wishes to pick up their firearm from the Auction company, the buyer will be required to fill out a firearms transfer form 4473, complete and pass a background check, and will have to wait 72 hours to pick up their firearm as required by Colorado State Laws. Background check fees are currently $25. Firearms may also be transferred to another federally licensed firearm dealer of the buyer’s choosing and can have their background check conducted by that dealer. Shipping and handling fees will apply. Firearms may be subject to an additional 6.5% excise tax as required by Colorado state laws.
Buyer Premium – No Buyer's Premium on Live In-Person Auctions
Payment- Payment must be received within 48 hours after the conclusion of the auction. The buyer will receive an Invoice from RT Claypoole Auction Service VIA the email provided at the time of registration. Buyer agrees to pay by Cash, Check, Credit Card or Bank Wire. The Buyer is responsible for all bank wire fees.
* All Sales may be subject Local Sales Tax * Sales Tax - For customer's purchasing items used in the "Direct Production" of Agricultural, may fill out a Colorado Sales Tax-Exemption form for those items to be tax exempt. We MUST have a Sales Tax-Exempt form on file for any items applicable to tax exemption or sales tax MUST be paid before any item is released. Successful bidders must contact us within 24 Hrs after the close of the auction to finalize invoicing and payment details.
You will receive a Paid in Full invoice once your payment has been received for the full amount due. This includes the full amount on the invoice plus wire transfer fees. No item can be picked up or shipped without the PAID IN FULL INVOICE.
TITLED VEHICLES – When purchasing a titled vehicle on our auction, you will pay the sales tax when you register the vehicle in your respective county where the vehicle is to be registered.
Shipping Policy- All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All funds must clear before any item can be removed or shipped.
Removal – All items must be removed the same day of the auction unless arrangements are made otherwise. Any item not picked up or shipped within 60 days of the auction will be RESOLD and no refund will be returned to the buyer.
